This is the third generation of the company’s concept model Suzuki. 2014 Suzuki Kizashi was unveiled at the Auto Show in New York in 2008. This is a variant of the concept on which to build a sports sedan or perhaps enter this model into production. Little information is available for this model, for more information read below.

Kizashi means prelude in Japanese, so it is safe to say that the sport sedan will go by a yet unknown name. The new Suzuki flagship will be built in Suzuki’s brand new Sagara plant in Japan. Suzuki is planning to power its new flagship sport sedan with a 3.6 liter DOHC V6 engine with plated cylinders delivering up to 300 hp. The plated cylinders save both weight and space, and has directly evolved from Suzuki’s motorcycle business and WRC development teams. The Kizashi is available in four-wheel drive and front-wheel drive versions, it gets a continuously variable transmission (CVT). GTS high performance model will also be available, which come with a six-speed manual or performance tuned CVT. With shift paddles on the steering wheel paddles Optional are leather seats, power seats, automatic wipers with rain sensor and automatic lights and rear proximity sensors.

The assertive grille, stylized LED headlights and glitzy 21-in. wheels highlight Suzuki’s aim to raise its status level with consumers on a global level. Early specifications for the Suzuki Kizashi Concept feature a 2.0-liter turbodiesel, 6-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive. The closest-to-production variation of the Concept Kizashi series, Concept Kizashi 3 embodies Suzuki’s interpretation of the sport sedan segment in the North American market. The Kizashi’s “super sport” identity, a core component of the Suzuki brand DNA, is tempered by the vehicle’s overall mission to provide strong, refined urban performance.
